Leeds' largest loser - 25/01/2016 to 28/03/2016

The Challenge : Over 10 weeks your challenge is to lose weight whilst raising vital funds for Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice. You will be put into one of four teams, each being led by one of our partner gyms and their expert personal trainers. You will be given peak access to your team’s gym for the full 10 weeks, and be able to take part in other classes and access nutritional advice to help you shed the pounds. This is a fitness package worth over £200. Then at an exciting finale we will announce both the individual and the team that have lost the highest percentage of weight to become Leeds’ Largest Losers. Last year John Sheret from Shadwell took over reign as Leeds’ Largest Loser. He took part as he knows what a difference Wheatfields Hospice makes to the lives of local families, ‘a friend of mine saw the event being advertised and we both decided to take up the challenge. Over the course of the challenge I lost 66.5 pounds in weight and raised £2,500 for Wheatfields Hospice. Roohi Lupton, senior hospice fundraiser at Wheatfields Hospice, said ‘this is a fabulous chance to improve your health, support Wheatfields Hospice and to meet a fabulous group of new people.’ Now it is your chance to secure your place in the Leeds’ Largest Loser challenge 2016! Places are limited so sign up now to secure yours! Raising the suggested £200 by taking part in Leeds Largest Loser could pay for 12 bereavement sessions at Wheatfields Hospice for someone who has lost a loved one.
